Obama Allocates $1 trillion for a new health plan

UNITED STATES President Barack Obama is allocating a humungous $1 trillion health plan, which will be stretched over a period of 10 years. The money that the government was planning to put forward in insurance premium payments, met with vehement protests from the consumers. Hence, this health plan would somewhat vindicate the government earlier moves.

This news was posted in the official White House web site. The new plan is expected to benefit nearly 31 million American citizens, who are yet to be insured.

However, considering the political climate in the US at the moment, it seems the plan will have to go through a number of initial hurdles. Nearly all the Republicans are against the new health plan and to make matters worse for Obama, a number of Democrats are having second thoughts abut the plan as well.

If this plan is successfully implemented, the insurance companies can no longer deny medical coverage to people with medical conditions.
